You have your own domain, and you want to be able to send and receive
email from that domain. Say I want to set up the email address "alexa@sugarchica.com".
Here's how I would go about doing that. It's a two step process, and
follow all steps very carefully.
PART 1 - SET UP YOUR EMAIL ON YOUR DOMAIN
1. Login to your domain manager. Use the login name and password you
were given when you got your domain.

2. Different sites have different control panels, but all should provide
you with the ability to set up email accounts.
3. On my site, this is what the mail control panel looks like:

4. I would first click the yellow pencil icon next to Sendmail SMPT
Server.
5. This takes me to another screen that looks like this:

6. I would now click on the button labelled "Add an Alias"
7. The domain pictured in the illustration is "sugarchica.com."
To make my email address "alexa@sugarchica.com", I would type
in the name "alexa" (but no quotes needed!) in the space next
to alias.

8. Click add alias, and now the email address "alexa@sugarchica.com"
has now been set up.
However, even though you now have an email address, you can't send or
receive mail yet on your home computer.
PART 2- CONFIGURE YOUR COMPUTER TO USE THE NAME YOU JUST SET UP
1. - Open up Outlook Express2. Go to "Tools" on the top bar
3. Then go to "Account"
4. Click on "Add"

5. Then click on "Mail"
6. Put in the name you want to appear on your mail. This is the name
that will appear in the "From" field of all your outgoing
mail. This setting does not affect the actual sending of your mail.

7. Put in your email address. This is the address people will use to
send you mail, and is the one you authorized when you made your server
settings earlier, in Part 1 of the tutorial above. Since I
set up mail for "alexa@sugarchica.com," I would type that in
in this box.

8. Choose POP3 on the next screen, and put in your domain name, in the
format of "yourdomain.com," as in the example below. For
"alexa@sugarchica.com," I would type in sugarchica.com in each
box.

9. Next screen - your login name and password that you use to login to
your server. Click on remember password so you don't have to enter it
each time.
10. Click finish. You're all set! Now mail will go to the address "alexa@sugarchica.com,"
and I can retrieve and send it through Outlook Express.
