Roxydoll12 Web Help

You now have a web page of your own with your own address.  But you want to  have other people be able to visit you and read your Diary.  Well, you can!  Here's how to put up a Diary at one of those sites.

1. Go to http://diaryland.com

2. Click on sign up for your diary

3. Fill out the form and submit it.  You will be given your user name and address for your diary.  Remember this!  It's a good idea to print it out so you can refer to it

4. You will be directed to go to your email account. Open the mail from Diaryland and you will find your password.

5. Go back, log in with your user name and password

6. At the Diaryland site, set up your Diary the way you want it to appear, following their directions. Or you can customize it any way you want, with colors and stuff

7.  When you signed up at Diaryland, you were given an address.  It also was in the email you received.  Mine was:

http://roxy.diaryland.com

8.  Make or edit your page as usual until you come to the field labeled "links"

Put one of the boxes called "Links URL" the diary code you were given.  My links box would have this in it:

http://roxy.diaryland.com

9.  Opposite the Link URL, there is a field for name. Write in:

Read My Diary

Or you can put in the name you choose for your diary.

12.  That's all you have to do.

(These directions work if your page is located anywhere else as well.  Then instead of putting your code in the Links boxes, you would put it anywhere on your page where you want the Diary to appear)
