OK, you're making your own graphics now, and have
kinda mastered PSP or Paint. You've been introduced to the
wonderful world of fonts, and you want more. (Careful- this is
an addiction. I currently have over 1,000 on my puter!)
Say you see this one and you have to have it:

First, you have to download the zip file that
contains the font. If you want Junior Popstar, DOWNLOAD
HERE. I find it easier going forward if I download the font onto a
place that I keep just for downloaded files or a separate floppy ("A" disc). So download it onto yours. (PS.
If you have any requests for fonts, post it in my Web Forum. I
will add them here, or someone else will help you locate them!)
Next, you have to unzip the file using Winzip or
another unzipping program. It's free, and you can get it at http://www.winzip.com.
When you unzip the file, I find it easiest to also unzip it into the
same floppy disc, but you could also unzip it to the desktop or
another place that is easy for you to locate.
Now, you actually install the font into your puter.
Although you can click on the file and see the letters of the
alphabet, you can't use it yet in your graphics. You have to
install it before you can use it.
To install a font, go to Start at the lower left
hand corner of your computer. Go to "Settings" then
"Control Panel." Then click on "Fonts". Your
screen should look like the picture below. Next, go to
"File," then "Install New Font."

Now, you have to tell your puter what fonts to add.
At first, under list of fonts, it will say "No fonts
found." Ignore that message. If you have the
fonts you want to install unzipped in your "A" disc,
click on "A" where it says "Drive," like below.
"A" will appear in the box. Your computer will now
begin searching for fonts in your "A" drive. A list of
fonts on that disc will appear under "List of Fonts."
When you see them appear, click on "Select All," or just
highlight the one you want to use. Now click on
"ok". The fonts will install themselves into your
puter. Now, when you open PSP or Paint, the new fonts will be
listed with all your old ones.
