Getting Familliar with the Palace

Make sure you are online, and open the Palace chat software.  You should get a screen like this:

Enter a name you want to use where it says "new friend" and click OK.

Your next step is to find some clothes, faces, etc.  To do this, click on the "Places" menu and select "Palace Directory". (see below)

**Note - this will open a new window in your internet browser. (http://www.thepalace.com/communities/ypd/)

In the browser, you can browse for palaces to explore.  You need to use the search feature.  In the "search box" enter the word "props" and click "search". (see below)

It will return a list of palace sites where they offer props to you.  Click on them to explore the sites.  When you click on one of them, your palace chat window should pop back up and it will take you to that site. It takes time for the graphics to load so be patient.

For my example, I'm going to be using a site called "Props 'R Us".

Now that you're there, it's time to start hunting for avatars!
